Additional Directions and Restrictions
Part-Time and Summer School Students
Part-Time Students may obtain their One Cards at the UNC One Card Office during the week prior to the beginning of the semester classes, after they are registered for classes at the University. Please note that Summer semester information is not available to the One Card office until a few days before classes begin.
Graduate and Professional Students
Graduate Students may obtain their One Cards at the UNC One Card Office during the week prior to the beginning of the semester classes, after they are registered for classes at UNC.
Professional Students will have their One Cards made at scheduled times that are set up by their department coordinator with the One Card Office.
Post-Docs and Visiting Scholars
Post-Docs and Visiting Scholars may obtain a UNC One Card in person at the UNC One Card Office when all information has been processed by Employee Records (EPA Web – if paid by University payroll – or Affiliate System, if not paid by University payroll).
Faculty and Staff
All faculty and permanent staff may obtain a UNC One Card in person at the UNC One Card Office when all information (PID assignment, etc.) has been processed by Employee records through ConnectCarolina.
Temporary Employees
Temporary Employees may obtain a UNC One Card in person at the UNC One Card Office. The Temporary Employee must be entered into ConnectCarolina.
Affiliates
Affiliates who are not on University payroll need to have their HR Representative create their profile in the Affiliate system. After the HR Representative receives confirmation of PID creation, these affiliates can go to the One Card Office in person and apply for their One Card.
