What is the mobile One Card for Apple?
The mobile One Card is just like your physical One Card but is now available on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
Can I have a physical One Card and a mobile One Card?
You can add the One Card to both your iPhone and Apple Watch, but only one format of the card (physical or mobile) will be permitted. Once a card is added to Apple Wallet, the physical card will no longer work.
Can I switch back to a physical card after being issued a mobile One Card?
To reactivate a physical One Card, email the One Card Office at onecard@unc.edu with your PID and request that your mobile One Card be disabled.
How do I get the mobile One Card on my Apple devices?
  1. Ensure that you have an approved photo on file. The photo must be less than five years old.  If you are not sure if you have an approved photo, please contact the One Card office at onecard@unc.edu.
  2. On your supported device, download the GET Mobile app from the App Store.
  3. Open GET Mobile from your iPhone and choose “University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill” from the drop down list.
  4. Log in using your Onyen and password, and then complete the DUO authentication.
  5. Select the Add to Apple Wallet button. Then select whether you would like to add the mobile One Card to your iPhone or Apple Watch. You may add your mobile One Card to both device types.
  6. After agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, your mobile One Card will now be available in your Apple Wallet.
How do I use my mobile One Card on Apple devices?
Your mobile One Card features the Express Mode transaction experience. A user is able to approach the card reader with a dark screen on their iPhone or Apple Watch without needing to authenticate via Face ID or Touch ID. Express Mode enables an extremely fast, seamless experience as you move through campus.

When you add your mobile One Card to Apple Wallet, Express Mode is turned on by default. If you don’t want to use Express Mode, you can turn it off. To turn it off, open Wallet, tap your One Card, tap the info button in the top right, and tap the Express Mode on/off button.

How can I view my PID?
To view your PID, open the Wallet app. Navigate to the back of your mobile One Card by clicking the info button in the top right. Scroll down until you see the ID # field. This is your PID.
Can I view my meal plan, Carolina Convenience Account, Flex Dollars, Employee Express Plan and Expense Account balances on my mobile One Card?
Yes! Open the Wallet app and select your One Card.
